Timothy J. Maloney
President and Chief Executive Officer


Tim spent over 25 years in banking, his last role as Senior Vice President and Region Manager for the U.S. Bank Private Client Services Group. He serves on the boards of the Fine Arts Fund, the Arts and Cultural Partnership, LLC, Agenda 360, Strive and the Kentucky Commission on Philanthropy. He also chairs the foundation-giving component of the 2010 United Way campaign. He is a former board member of the Cincinnati May Festival, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Most importantly, Tim was a close personal friend of Carol and Ralph Haile. Tim and his wife Leslie make their home in East Walnut Hills and have two sons residing in Colorado and Wyoming.

Leslie Maloney
Senior Vice President, Program Manager—Education


Before joining the Foundation, Leslie enjoyed a 27-year career in Human Resources, her last role as a managing consultant with Hewitt Associates, LLC. She is a former board member and president of the 4C for Children agency, and currently serves on the boards for Greater Cincinnati Foundation Northern Kentucky and Northern Kentucky University Institute for Nonprofit Capacity. Like Tim, Leslie also was a close personal friend of the Hailes.

Eric Avner
Vice President, Program Manager—Community Development


Eric was associate director of the Cincinnati Business Committee before joining our team, advising the region’s leading CEOs on community development. While managing the City of Newport’s downtown revitalization, he led the effort to convert the L&N Bridge into the award-winning Purple People Bridge. Eric serves on a number of boards, was included in the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “40 Under Forty” in 2004, and is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class XXXI. He and his wife Adrienne live in Walnut Hills.

Christine Bochenek
Vice President, Program Manager—U.S. Bank Legacy Initiatives


Chris joined the Foundation in 2007 following 28 years with U.S. Bank that included 25 years in Institutional Trust and Custody Services, Employee Benefits and Trust Operations. Most recently, she served in Private Client Services as Vice President and Regional Operations Manager. She lives in Bridgetown with her husband Christopher and their children.

Steve Bentley
Associate Program Manager
 
Steve completed the first Haile Fellowship at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation in June, 2009,  providing him with hands-on experiences in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. During this time, he was responsible for helping to develop the two-year program and spent time working at the Center for Great Neighborhoods in Covington. Steve graduated from Xavier University in 2007 where he served as student body president and director of the University's student-run service center. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Xavier University and is a member of the fifth class of C-Change. Steve currently lives in downtown Cincinnati.
 

Chad McCarter
Assistant Grant Coordinator


Chad earned his associate degree in Business Financial Management in 2005 from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He joined the Foundation in 2008 after five years of service with U.S. Bank. Chad and his wife Nancy live in Northern Kentucky.
