Mission
Like the Hailes, the Foundation understands it has a collective responsibility to help ensure that basic needs, such as food and shelter, are provided throughout the region. While the Foundation's core focus areas (Arts and Culture, Education and Community Development) address long-term solutions, we recognize that short-term help is an immediate need in our community.
In support of this mission, we fund the work of human services providers. We work closely with our partners at the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation to better understand the needs across our community. In 2010, the Foundation provided support to human services organizations in excess of $1,000,000, including $200,000 through the Weathering the Economic Storm funder's collaborative.
